Leroy Hidalgo
With over five decades of experience in the construction and industrial sectors, Leroy Hidalgo has built a career defined by hands-on expertise, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Beginning his journey in 1972 as a young construction laborer, he quickly advanced through the ranks, gaining deep knowledge in concrete work, general construction, and industrial trades. His career trajectory saw him hold key positions, from jobsite superintendent to manager of an in-house concrete division for a major general contractor.
In 1996, Leroy founded Hidalgo Industrial Services, a company specializing in commercial and industrial concrete contracting. Under his leadership, the business expanded to include fabrication, mechanical piping, and commercial equipment maintenance, with multiple locations across Texas. After a successful buyout in 2014, he continued to apply his expertise as a concrete reinforcing estimator before acquiring a residential HVAC company in Fort Worth, forming R10 Heat and Air.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Leroy has been deeply involved in community service. His passion for search and rescue led him to become a nationally certified Search and Rescue (SAR) technician and dog handler. Alongside his highly trained German Shepherd, Wroughten (R-10), he dedicated years to assisting with local and statewide search efforts. Though now retired from SAR work, Leroy continues to breed and raise long-coat German Shepherds from Wroughten’s exceptional bloodline.
Leroy’s wealth of experience in construction, business leadership, and specialized search and rescue work makes him a credible and insightful voice in his field.
